a lot of "lifeline" (out 7/31, all platforms) is me attempting to paint little vignettes of grief, bliss, and finding the things in this world that make living here a little more manageable. "peace" is a reflection of that aforementioned bliss, that calm that comes following a particularly hard time, a battle well fought that you managed to come out by the skin of your teeth. makes you wanna dance, but with a lil sad undertone. something about it really intrigues me. sample is peace movement by jimmy ponder. go get lifeline when it's out, i'm hoping this becomes what "hud dreams" or "donuts" or "shades of blue" was to me for somebody out there. thank you. -julian.more
