Seattle Psychedelic Neo-Soul band Day Soul Exquisite will release their new single “Disentangle” on Friday, October 27th. The Queer & BIPOC-fronted band’s debut EP “Sanguine & Cardamom” will be out January 19th. The teaser first track off the upcoming EP, “Disentangle” is a bossa nova inspired ballad dedicated to family and healing complex webs of trauma. Drawing on disco roots, the chorus centers on releasing disapproval and embracing a queer identity, with the refrain “Who I am and what I do is not up to you.” more
