DERELICTUS is the story of Kold Volk and the city that tried to erase him. It begins in Vesper: a decaying industrial city where power lives behind polished windows, promises expire fast, and the people at the bottom are expected to survive quietly. When the city goes dark, Kold finds the people Vesper has ignored—workers, outsiders, dreamers, and survivors—and gives their bond a name: The Veil. What starts as protection becomes influence. Influence becomes an empire. But every step upward brings a new cost: betrayal, suspicion, sacrifice, and the realization that the man who builds a fortress can end up trapped inside it. This is not a story about a hero asking to be understood. It is about a man who accepts the villain label the city gives him—and turns it into power. KOLD VOLK — DERELICTUS WELCOME TO VESPER.more
