A wedding couple we were doing a gig for asked for this track as their first dance. As a duo with just guitar/vocal and piano I was thinking "how the hell are we going to do this with just 2 of us?" So I slowed it right down, ditched the guitars for piano instead, and tried to make it beautiful and haunting. Me on the piano, my music partner on vocals. We recorded it live in the studio with 1 take. It's the only way we could get the vibe we wanted. As for the wedding couple? They were more than happy............ Thanks for listening :-)more
