This song is a great example of how you can take criticism and make it constructive towards challenging yourself as an artist. I was told by someone that they didn’t particularly enjoy the drums to the original song. Although the song did relatively well on Spotify as well as me enjoying it myself – I opened myself up to making it even better. So, this song has a completely different intro, new drums, an 808 bass, and additional synths to make the overall vibe a bit more solid. What use to be the core of the song in the Indian Flute from the original – that sound takes a back seat and is a bit more subtle with the addition of a darbuka drum that keeps the middle eastern flare from the original that pays a homage to my roots as a Persian. I love this version even more than the original, and my hope is that others will enjoy it even more than the original as well. more
