What does it sound like when your own mind becomes the loudest thing in the room?
“Static Bones” is one of the most personal songs on Midnight Static on the Prairie.
At 26, I was trying to heal while struggling to understand what was real and what wasn't.
“Morning coffee gets too loud.”
“Whispers hanging in the air.”
“Pills beside the water cup.”
“Static buzzing in my bones.”
Those aren't just lines—they're fragments of what those years felt like.
I wrote this song for anyone who has ever felt trapped inside their own thoughts, misunderstood, or afraid to tell someone what they're going through.
Mental illness shouldn't have to be hidden.
This is “Static Bones.”
If you've ever felt the noise, I hope this song makes you feel a little less alone.
