From Job 23:10-14 Ohhhhh Yahweh knows the way that I take When I am tried God will provide And bring me out as gold The devil accuses with all of his might Pouring out venom and pouring out spite Using all angles to prove that he’s right That all my suffering is God's vengeful wrath And I have been sentenced to a shameful path Ohhhhh Yahweh knows the way that I take When I am tried God will provide And bring me out as gold My foot has held fast to His unfailing path I’ve kept to His way and have yearned to obey My heart’s not departed from loving His Word Yearning to do it more than eating my food In sin is my nature, yet my heart clings to you Ohhhhh Yahweh knows the way that I take When I am tried God will provide And bring me out as gold I know that my love for goodness and truth Comes from your Spirit, and that’s surety, proof That I am your child, through Christ reconciled The battle against all the evil within Reveals your good heart in me hating that sin Ohhhhh Yahweh knows the way that I take When I am tried God will provide And bring me out as gold Bring me out as goldmore
