People often say that someone with ADHD "goes off on a tangent."
In Spanish, we have a beautiful expression for it: "irse por las ramas" — literally, "to wander through the branches."
Imagine an idea as a tiny spark landing on the trunk of a tree. As it grows, it follows one branch, then another, and another, splitting into countless new paths. Along the way, it changes, evolves and discovers unexpected connections, yet it never completely loses the essence of where it began.
Like a bird hopping from branch to branch, the mind explores, wanders and returns. The journey may seem chaotic from the outside, but every leap is connected to the same living tree.
That's what ARBORESCENT THINKING feels like.
