LOST is the eleventh and penultimate track of my recently released second album, The Difficult Furlough Album. This was written in the mid-90’s, when I was rather shy and less confident, hence the lyrical content. I always heard this as a big ballad with a big sound, so hopefully I achieved that when I finally recorded it this year, adding acoustic & electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, piano, harpsichord, church organ, celesta, string & brass sections, woodwinds, glockenspiel, gong, mellotron and a vocoder!
