I wrote a sea shanty for a songwriting challenge. This is (mostly) in traditional call-and-response shanty form, but the lyrics use the form as a metaphor for getting over a breakup and moving on in life. It's a simple acapella arrangement with vocal harmonies (by my crew of...eh...me) and a drumbeat. It's on release now. more
