Big Rock Candy Mountain
Where they hung the jerk that invented work! Happy Bicycle Day! Drop some acid, get naked, hop on your bike and listen to this new release by Tree Danko from HappyFish Records and Studio 3! Originally recorded in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2012, this vintage track has been reworked and recovered from the deep-cut archives. Tree Danko on Banjo, Vocals and Jaw Harp Matt Weincek on Guitar Farahj (RIP) on high vibes. This recording is special to me personally due to the fact that Farahj can be heard encouraging Matt and I to play our best take of this famous country song. Our friend passed away just 2 days later due to heroin overdose. At the end of the song he is heard laughing happily, and that is how I remember him. Harry McClintock claims to have written this song in 1895 but this is widely disputed. Many believe this song, or aspects thereof have existed for much longer. Leave me some love, comments, fire and all that jazz!!! New release 'The American Spirit Blues' drops April 23rd. Pre-Save and all the links available at linktr.ee/treedankomore
