The "dark" side of the human mind is a fascinating concept. This idea - that within each us lies a small part below our socialized brain which is charged with our ultimate survival and from which intense emotion and actions emanate - is one most are familiar with, but that is often not remembered, or when it is, is quickly brushed aside in favor of more pleasant thoughts. I created this track as a tribute to the exploration of this deep, primal, and reptilian domain of the self, as I believe it is an important part of exploring your conscious existence which should not be suppressed, but acknowledged and embraced as an essential part of being human. -mbmore
