"Cross My Heart" is a song that speaks to the people battling through toxic relationships. The chorus resonates the cycle/chant that people experience while deciding to continue on in the seemingly never ending cycle of a toxic relationship. The song was inspired by witnessing toxic relationships throughout the years and seeing how damaging the pattern is. I started writing the song from the chorus first and figured the rest out from there. I feel it's a highly relatable and important topic.more
