Samhain Ancestral Call VerTex VeriTas | DeGreene Records Rooted in a thirty-year-old ancestral witches ritual, The witches Ancestral Call is a celebration of family, remembrance, and the enduring connection between generations. Blending Celtic folk melodies with rhythmic rock instrumentation, the song brings the ancient traditions of Samhain to life through the gathering of the circle, the ceremonial Dumb Supper, and an invocation welcoming the spirits of departed loved ones to the family table. Featuring intertwined male and female vocals, the arrangement unfolds like a communal ceremony, moving from quiet reflection to joyful celebration before closing with a blessing of peace. The song's chorus preserves the words of the original ritual, transforming a deeply personal family tradition into a musical tribute to those who came before us. Samhain Ancestral Call is not a song about fearing the dead. It is a song about remembering them, honoring them, and celebrating the love that remains.** As above, so below. Blessed Samhain.more
