The first draft of this song (made four years prior) wanted the listener to experience the misery I had inexplicably felt at the time. But when I first ever shared the song with a close friend of mine, I instead received love and appreciation of the work I had made. Somehow, the broken pieces I was determined to humiliate and criticize myself for, enamored and inspired the others around me. The revised song now reflects on that situation, a gift to my closest supporters.more
