- Mastered by mixea.com I'm lost my aunt last night and this was her favourite song of mine that I wrote long time ago but remixed this morning for her. Im not saying for sympathy im just trying to get into right head space x Oh when I die Please don’t be hypocrites And stand there and lie Like you ever gave a damn Don’t say I was “such a good friend” If you never called Not once Don’t polish up what you threw away Just ‘cause I can’t speak today If you hated me Say you hated me If you loved me Let it shake you free (oh) Tell the truth at my grave Don’t dress it up nice Cry if you need Laugh if you like But don’t be hypocrites And stand there and lie Skip the pretty words Give me stories Give me dirt Tell ’em how I messed it all up Then share the nights I showed up If you hated me Say you hated me If you loved me Let it shake you free (oh) Tell the truth at my grave Don’t dress it up nice Cry if you need Laugh if you like But don’t be hypocrites And stand there and lie Raise a glass to the fights and the flaws To every time I broke my own laws Keep it ugly Keep it plain Let the honesty remain [Chorus] If you hated me Say you hated me If you loved me Let it shake you free (yeah) Tell the truth at my grave Don’t dress it up nice Cry if you need Laugh if you like But don’t be hypocrites And stand there and lie Don’t stand there and lie (hey) Don’t stand there and lie more
