I wrote this song during a long distance relationship that lasted about 3 months. She lived in Cali & I lived here in NYC/NJ area, so you can imagine the distance in that (3000 miles to be exact). But for some reason every time I would leave LA, & land in Newark it would rain in LA. Coincidentally it happened 3 times in a row, back to back. Not only that but the last time I went & came back there was a full on blizzard here in the East Coast. My tear drops really made it rain in LA, and her tear drops really made it rain over here in NYC. My love for her was so strong that it inspired me to write music while we weren’t together. In the end though she decided to break my heart & never speak to me again... it was for the best, but I thank her for making me realize how beautiful it is to be human & for allowing my creative thoughts to manifest into this dimension.
