I was an atheist for 25+ years, really hated Christians too. Didn't believe in God. Until one day... when I was broken, really giving up on my life, I decided to cry out to God. "God, I don't know if you're real. But if you are, show me - and I will follow you". I really didn't expect anything to happen. But that's when I first encountered the Holy Spirit, physically. Felt like electricity running through my body. Can't explain it - but it changed my life forever. Since then, I've surrendered my life to Christ.
