Don't be afraid to terrify yourself! Pazuzu is a sonic descent into the depths of an ancient nightmare, where invisible presences shift just beyond the edge of perception. Suffocating drones, slow-burning tension, and corroded soundscapes build the echo of a primordial force that seems to observe from the darkness without ever fully revealing itself. Part of our collection of soundtracks for films that were never made and exist only within our imagination, Pazuzu belongs to a fictional archive of lost motion pictures, films that never existed except as mental fragments and sonic impressions. The piece draws only the vaguest inspiration from certain strands of horror literature and cinema from the late ’70s and early ’80s, particularly those exploring possession and faith as unstable territories, without referencing any specific narrative but rather its broader cultural aura. A slow, inescapable descent into the unknown, where terror does not appear openly but settles instead into voids, silences, and everything that remains just out of frame.more
