“No Room For Me” is a protest song about a forgotten veteran — a man who served his country, did his duty, and followed every rule, only to be left homeless and ignored when he needed help most. The song contrasts public praise for service and sacrifice with the private reality of being abandoned by the system. It shows the pain of watching politicians talk confidently from warm offices, while the man who wore the uniform sleeps rough on cold London streets. Importantly, the song isn’t aimed at other struggling people. He doesn’t blame those being helped — he questions why compassion seems selective, and why empty buildings and promises exist while he has nowhere to go. At its heart, the song asks one simple, human question: If I did my part… why was there no room for me? It’s not about anger for anger’s sake. It’s about dignity, broken promises, and the quiet hurt of being forgotten after giving everything. Website www.istillgotasong.commore
