This track is about my father. he was never really around when I grew up, and I resented him for that and even my dads side of my family for a long time. It wasn't until I got out of prison that I started to forgive him, and talk to him about why he wasn't around, and started to understand why he couldn't. I didn't hold it against him. I forgave him for that, and ever since we've talked, we began to build our relationship from the ground up, realizing how much we had in common.
