I wrote this song while I was stuck on limited activity during a trip to my childhood home. Because of medical complications, I wasn’t allowed to fly from Montana back to Wisconsin. I ended up having to take the train back home. This song highlights the feelings I’ve had about leaving home after high school, and the implications it could have in the future now that I am a father myself.
