I have been working on this tune for years. Been trying to lay lyrics down, but always seemed to get stuck. I'm looking for collaboration with a vocalist which kind of terrifies me... "Then She Says" can go two ways, undeniably sexy and passionate, or dark and moody. Originally it was written about lost love. The chorus is a simple wordless falsetto line representing the power a girl has - her eyes speaks without words.
