Oh that fiery wrath
Unbearable its path
Nuclear its vengeance rages
Yet precise as lightning courses
To dispense God’s wrath
See that fire coming down
To consume the very one
Who symbolic of all evil
Took the force of Yahweh’s gavel
What? That one was God Himself?
Taking on Himself His wrath?
Praise God’s justice
Praise such witness!
God dispenses to His face
All the fury of His anger
On Himself before He pours it
On another without grace
He must feel it; then He’ll give it
He must know what He intends
He must undergo the blow
That unbearable He’d sow
Upon humankind
For His glory to defend
But when He has undergone
Such a baptism of fire
Will He still be the one
To dispense it on another?
Will He send this vengeance just
Without mercy, without rest?
Praise God’s justice
Praise such witness!
God dispenses to His face
All the fury of His anger
On Himself before He pours it
On another without grace
Praise such justice!
Praise such justice!
In your glory all my hope is!more
