This is the first single from my forthcoming record, Unfocused, out 4/22/22. It came from me writing down the names of three musicians: Fran Healy of Travis, Peter Buck of R.E.M., and Andy Bell of Ride. The riff, when I first wrote it, resembled something you’d hear from Travis. I tried to turn it into something shoegaze-y a la Vapour Trail, and something jangly like you’d see from R.E.M. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I’ve enjoyed recording it.more
