So who is this lady: Arandulia is a (non-Tolkien canon) Maia (same order as Gandalf, Saruman, Sauron, Radagast) on a text MUD started in the 90's called SlothMUD. And she's internally mulling over some (as yet unspecified) mistake she made that got a whole bunch of people killed.
