Dakota Rain was born 1869 near Storm Lake Iowa. He was born in a prairie schooner, part of a small wagon train heading west to find a new life. His farther stayed for 3 weeks after he was born then just uped and left not seen again . His mom drove the wagon fed and kept him warm for the first 10 years of his life. She named him Dakota Rain.
