A musical composition created for the guitar, with an initially melancholic but gritty flavor in the central and final parts, inspired by the problems of children from Eastern countries transplanted to the West and, more generally, of anyone forced to abandon its own homeland.
The structure of the piece is quite complex and the arrangement in the first part was designed for 2 guitars, which interpret different melodic lines carefully intertwined on a background arpeggio. An acoustic interlude introduces the second part, played by a solo guitar that offers the main melody of the composition. In the third one this same melodic theme is taken up in fingerpicking style by a single acoustic guitar. The fourth section leaves room for a short solo on electric guitar, and then ends with the dominant motif.more
