Just a mad musical moment in my life. The bird and low pitched locust sounds that appear throughout the song were recorded by me whilst sitting on my balcony on a boiling hot day in Thailand. The echoey drum sound that comes and goes throughout the song reminds me of a heartbeat. This is simply me, drumming with a plastic pen on an old wooden chair, on the same balcony. The recording of these samples and creation of this song happened two years ago. Turned into a love song, it depicts a journey of two people as they fall in love, go through a courtship, and finally get married in a traditional Buddhist wedding ceremony. The ceremony was performed by nine monks, and took place beneath a picture of the beloved, late King number 9 of Thailand. Hope you enjoy ❤️more
