Untheorized is progressive metal band from southern Sweden. With a dialect that sounds like there's a sack of potatoes in our throats, our music doesn't sound so horrible after all.
The band was originally formed in 2021 by Jack Carlsson (drummer, songwriter and audio engineer) and Tobias Rehnstrand (guitarist and songwriter), but faced hard challenges along the way - the pandemic being one of them. Despite this, we pressed on and found our remaining two members Thex Bengtsson (guitarist and songwriter) and Oliver Björnstedt (bassist and songwriter).
These are the four strange brains that are behind the chaotic yet pleasant melodies with its raw aggression in harmony.
Untheorized isn't defined by its sound; it's what we're evolving to become.

Granulate
Track 4 on our debut EP Converge in sorrow.
Granulate is the final song on the EP and is about shattering trust by the ones who says they love you. You always get hope when they say that they changed just to drag you further down when they do exactly the opposite later.
This instrumental EP is describing the feelings you get from longterm depression and abuse that occurs in dysfunctional familys. This is a place to escape hardships and place to be safe.more
