2Good (born Jarred Goodie) is a Rapper/Producer hailing from Beaumont, Texas. Showcasing a versatile musical range, he was brought up around music since an infant. As his father was an aspiring producer for some time and also a trained saxophonist. His mother is also a gifted singer who would have at home vocal lessons with him. He spent time in his early childhood going back and forth between Beaumont,TX and Oakland, Ca, from where his mother hails, settling in Texas around the age of 6. He began to sing in the school choir and it was there where he would discover his passion for music. Growing up in Texas in the early 2000s 2Good was heavily influenced by Texas rap culture. In his delivery you can hear influences from southern and west coast artists such as Lil’ Keke, Chamillionaire, Snoop Dogg, Dom Kennedy, Curren$y and Bun B sprinkled with his own soulful twist. In 2011 “The Definition of Greatness “ was born and as we enter the 2020s, it’s only up from here!
