Anthony was in a coma for two weeks and not expected to live.
Eight years after his accident, Anthony graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Education in Applied Cognitive Science with a specialization in Brain Injuries.
His story of recovery was featured in a cover story for Reader's Digest, July, 2002.
Two years after Anthony retired from Teaching, an aggressive cancer diagnosis forced Anthony to face another life-changing crisis.
The cancer diagnosis, served as another “Teacher” in Anthony’s life, forcing intense personal transformation, self-discovery and resilience.
