Aichieli is a Tanzanian artist, cultural curator, and founder of SONOR:us, a platform dedicated to building collaborative music and arts experiences across East Africa.
Her relationship with music began early, shaped by MTV, musicals, and a deep love for storytelling through sound. After moving to England at eight, she found her voice through singing and, by 13, was writing songs and teaching herself piano, guitar, and drums.
Her sound blends soul, R&B, and indie soft rock with vintage, Afro-leaning influences, warm, textured, and rooted in storytelling. Her lyrics explore love, identity, feminism, and the tensions of modern life, balancing introspection with subtle wit.
Beyond her solo work, Aichieli operates at the intersection of music and cultural development. Through SONOR:us, she curates live events, supports artists, and develops projects that connect creative communities across the region.
