Alex Drift stands for a straightforward, clear, very melodic and catchy electronic sound. His main focus at the moment is on boogie house beats, disco basslines and catchy vocal hooks. Alex Drift likes to leave his comfort zone and try out other genres to challenge himself, try out and discover new things. Alex is no newcomer to the field of electronic music and has been living in Berlin for 20 years. There he has already released under different pseudonyms on labels like Vinyl Vibes Records, Vienna Scientists, Ministry of Sound or Stereo Deluxe and won 2nd place at the Land Rover Music Award. With the move from Berlin to Mainz came the new project Alex Drift. It should become housier and more electronic without losing the focus on soulful vibes. After the first album R.E.H.A.B. in 2021, it continued with the singles, that are the consistent processing of the album and the question of what we want from life, who we love, how we live and what is actually important to us.
