Alfredo Carrillo is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning Tenor who is also well-known for his body of work in The Standards and Romantic Music and traditional music from his home country, Mexico. Maestro Carrillo's rich, versatile voice with it's wide range and passionate delivery placed first in the world in Perm, Russia Opera Competition. He was also awarded Best Tenor in the Olivia Gore Contrest in Mexico City's National Center for the Arts. Mr. Carrillo has performed on stages around the world including the US, Europe (Russia), Mexico, and Costa Rica. While his preferred genre is Opera, Mr. Carrillo has a wide crossover appeal and he sings in multiple languages including Spanish, English, Italian, French, Russian, Portuguese and German. He has performed in various operas, most recently the highly-acclaimed opera, Carmen. Considered "The Grand Tenor of Durango, Mexico" he has collaborated with a wide variety of artists, and has opened for Placido Domingo.
