GR is a guitarist originally from Puebla, self-taught and learning individually with various musicians. He began his musical career in 2000, participating in bands such as Disembowel (Death Metal), Oath Witness (Heavy Metal), Fractional Dimension (Prog Metal), and Pulverized (Death Metal), in addition to collaborating on various projects over more than two decades. During his 23-year career, he has performed in numerous venues and stages, developing his unique musical voice. Faced with the challenges of maintaining a stable band, he decided to focus on his solo project, GR, named after his initials. In 2024, he released his latest album, Catharsis, where he composed all the songs and recorded all the guitars. The album features three guest musicians and represents a deep exploration of his sonic identity. Currently, in 2025, GR is working on rewriting and re-recording four tracks from his penultimate album, bringing in internationally renowned musicians to enrich the project.
