From Gaël ATTIOGBE to GBEHOLDA, the journey was long. It all started on December 17th 1996 when I was born in Lomé (Togo). Coming from a modest family, I had a normal childhood. My parents divorced when I was about 14 years old and things started to be a bit difficult for us since my dad didn’t want to take care of us anymore, but my mom did everything for my sister and I to have a good life and complete our high school degree. Once in Canada I realized the real meaning of hustling because I was alone and have to defend myself. My musical perception has matured through the combination of the two countries. As I was influenced by Rumba, RnB, folklore and Afro beats in Togo, I have been exposed to (Western music). From this exposure came Afro fusion (my style ) that you can hear in My song “Julie” I took out on October 23rd 2020. And I believe my music has the potential to travel throughout the world and will definitively be between the best. My main goal is to spread Love and good v
