Bongani Austin Lambrechts is a South African based rapper coming straight from the most over looked parts of Cape Town, Nyanga East which is a crime infested area with an environment hard for young black kids to make it out and become successful or reach 21 alive. Bongx having been through more life threatening situations than most his age mates and coming from a poor background decided to change his life and change the outcome and direction of it by depicting the challenges he faced by young kids from Cape Town through music. At a very tender age of 17, Bongx established his rap career in a rap group called Toxic Goons having performed for big crowds at Buyel'embo Khayelitsha a stage graced by dozens of big artists such as Reason, Moozlie etc. He eventually outgrew the group and pursued the venture on his own and is making a success of it as off today with a more mature sound than previously done while offering an authentic yet international type of hip hop with chilled etiquette
