Biggah Kai, born Kyrell Hans St. Amand, is a Bronx-born, East Coast-based artist, MC, producer, vocalist and song writer creating through a God-fearing, real-life lens. Raised around New York rap, Latin music, reggae, dancehall, soul, jazz, house, freestyle, G-funk, Southern production, touches of trap and drill, cinematic scores and sounds beyond any one genre, he filters it all through a boom-bap and East Coast foundation. A friend once described his sound as “organized chaos," familiar yet new, infectious, textured, distinct and directional. After a decade-plus hiatus from music and performance, marriage, fatherhood, trials, setbacks and spiritual growth reshaped how he understood his gifts and their purpose. His music became ministry: testimony, real life, conviction, stewardship and pointing toward Christ without being confined to one sound.

The Current
THE CURRENT — Biggah Kai A self-produced, cinematic East Coast soul-rap record built around punchy, head-nodding boom-bap drums, a commanding kick-and-snare rhythm that sways with you, orchestral horns, sweeping strings and atmospheric chimes. The instrumental carries a soulful, regal atmosphere, balancing dramatic instrumentation with a grounded, almost traditional hip-hop groove. Layered melodic vocals float through the arrangement, contrasting with tightly packed, deliberate lyricism. A reflection of personal growth, conviction, spiritual refinement and the man God continues shaping me into. The record brings my singing and rapping together without compromising either side. With a dash of worship. Don Status. Daily Practice. 🍃🌪️🕊️more

Risk Trade (Zion Reward)
RISK TRADE (ZION REWARD) — Biggah Kai A self-produced, cinematic East Coast rap record driven by hard-hitting boom-bap drums that sway and march in a sense, commanding low end with floss, bop and agreement, dramatic piano, orchestral strings and a militant sense of movement. Sharp lyricism meets calculated confidence, exploring the cost of conviction, spiritual warfare, risk and the rewards that come from standing firm in what you believe. Pretty much, it is what it be. And he be for “JC” - Jesus Christ. The production carries weight and urgency without sacrificing that poised New York swagger. Faith. Discipline. Conviction. Calculated moves. Run the risk early. ⚔️🎲🕊️more

In Route
“In Route” is my first release after a decade-plus hiatus from music and performance. I produced the record myself, building an East Coast/boom-bap-rooted rhythm with layered 808s, trap percussion, hard-textured drums and hypnotic melodic movement. It’s a reintroduction through a God-fearing, real-life lens: moving when God says move, staying the course and understanding the route isn’t always the broad one. “The Route I’m In… Narrow Way, Gotta Stay In…” Would appreciate some real ears on the record and production. Grace & peace. "Kai on the track, Yeah he runs the map black"more
