Hmmm I’m a redhead from Philly who’s lived in Chicago for half my life. I love maps and geography. I eat too much McDs and salt. I suck at Hinge. Sometimes I kick flows outside of music venues. I believe in nuance and humility over absolutism and bravado. I stopped trying to figure out the universe awhile back but I still feel like a hypocrite fairly often for being trivial. I love digging into history but struggle with its validity. I played three sports back in the day but I couldn’t hit a curveball, jump high, or fire off the line of scrimmage very fast. I miss my grandma. Technically I’m a journalist by trade. Montrose Lamp Session is an underground hip hop duo that my good friend and I formed with the idea that if we’d made it through our own Dark Ages, there’s still a chance for hope in a daunting world.
