Music has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I grew up loving a variety of music, always paying careful attention to the lyrics. I got my first guitar in 8th grade and began writing songs as a teenager. In high school, I started to take music more seriously and performed an original song for the first time. I think it was then I knew that I wanted to be a songwriter.
After starting a family, I unintentionally put songwriting on the back burner, but God never let me forget about the dreams He put in my heart long ago. As a result, within the past few years, I’ve decided to give songwriting a real shot.
