Choking Crows is the recording alias for the left-handed singer/songwriter Riley Corvus. The self-taught guitarist formed the indie rock band in 2012. Corvus gained influential traction in 2013, during their Southern California Coffee Shoppe Tour. From there, in 2014, they went on to start their label We\Are/They Records, a small-scale DIY business to wrangle with the industry beast. Once getting their feet wet with this side of the music business they've come back to push their work as the current guinea pig for WAT Records.
