Ashley Chu is an 18 year old classically-trained pianist who has a strong passion for composing both classical and electronic contemporary music. At the age of 13, he achieved a high distinction for his LMusA piano exam, and proceeded to win many composer competitions. Due to his quite recent interest for jazz, he is studying jazz piano at the Sydney conservatorium of music. He's also learning guitar, bass guitar ands drums, and is looking to continue his passions in performing as well as writing classical, and contemporary electronic music as a career.
