I'm a 38-year-old husband, dad, and neuropsychologist in the daytime and professional amateur music maker in the night time. I've made music / written songs / played guitar, etc. since age 17. I've only recently had more time to learn how to take my songs and filter them through all the tech and theory of music production, mixing, and mastering. But that's okay....because I find meaning in sharing my music to others. If only one person out there in this great big world listens to my songs and feels less alone, or inspired, or empowered....well, I guess one could argue that's the whole point of making music.
