David Gauthier is a seasoned drummer and producer from Hamilton, Ontario. With over 15 years of experience in various genres, including post-hardcore, alternative rock, and electronic music, David has developed a versatile and dynamic drumming style. A graduate of Trebas Institute for Recording Engineering in Toronto, Ontario, David's education in audio production has informed his approach to drumming and music creation. He has been involved in several bands, including Slowmotionnoise, Take the Capital, and Father Figure, and has shared the stage with numerous acts. Currently, David is part of the post-rock duo Breathe In. Asphyxiate., where he explores new sonic landscapes alongside guitarist/producer Sean Sheridan. His approach to drumming is characterized by his passion for texture and atmosphere, often incorporating electronic elements and unconventional techniques to create a unique sound.
