From the tender age of 7, I've been preoccupied with keys and my own vocal cords. It was at this age that I began lessons in piano and voice. At McGill University, I got a Bachelor of Music Education, but kept writing. After a brief stint of disillusionment in my teaching career, I embraced my latest passion as a women’s personal empowerment coach and group drumming facilitator. When I'm not bee-lining from event to event, I'm usually hanging out in the woods with my best four-legged friend, Scout. My influences range from Sarah McLachlan to Adele to Alicia Keys to Janis Joplin, with a sprinkle of everything in between. I thought I was an extrovert… turns out I’m more of an introvert. I’m a lifelong learner, and have recently gotten in way better tune to my spirituality and intuition, and creativity. My songs are mostly about the challenges of life - love, purpose, social justice, and living your dreams no matter what.
