Visionary voice of modern Ukrainian ritual folk
Electroptakha is a visionary voice of modern Ukrainian ritual folk. Her music grows from ancient Ukrainian
ritual singing — a tradition where the voice was never meant to be polite. It was meant to call, to heal, to
warn, to mourn, to celebrate. A voice strong enough to carry across fields and rivers, strong enough to
shake walls and open something deep inside the listener.
Her sound lives somewhere between witchcraft and meditation.
It is music for the moments when you want to burn a city like the legendary Ukrainian princess Olga — and
for the moments when you need to quiet the chaos in your mind. Many listeners describe her
performances as unexpectedly calming, even for people with ADHD — including the artist herself.
On stage Electroptakha merges ritual voice with immersive electronic sound, raw guitars and powerful
drums.
