Born in Killybegs in 1965 and have been singing and playing music from as far back as I can remember. Started writing in my teens and played in school and college bands and folk groups. Mostly doing covers apart from a few originals played and recorded by the band in college. Have worked in electronics, logistics, manufacturing and IT "to keep bread on the table" but always kept a close connection to music playing as a ballad singer in pubs and hotels. In more recent years as part of a great four piece group (Eistigi - playing traditional Irish music and folk ballads). Based now in County Meath where I've been living for over 20 years. I've finally taken the time to start recording the many songs I've written (and parked over the years) and at 55 decided it was now or never (I chose now :-)).
