Estlyn is an ordinary person just like everyone else. Estlyn’s real name is Alex Lopez. Alex can play many instruments such as the guitar, violin, cello, and piano, but his main instrument is the piano and cello. Alex has won a couple of cello competitions in Long Beach, CA, whether that be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place positions. He has been playing piano since 2nd grade, and stopped freshman year of high school. He still plays piano on his own and continually learns more about it. One cool thing Alex can do is identify a note based off of its pitch alone (perfect pitch), and can roughly learn a cello song by ear alone. Alex’s latest album ‘Highs and Lows’ is about Alex’s high and low points of his life. Alex’s mission in making music is to give people something to hope for. Alex knows about the amount of heartbreak and unhappiness flowing throughout the world, and hopes to change that.
