For 3 years I found myself trapped in a bad mental space, where I had no ambition or hope, drugs and alcohol became my escape. I lost all sight of who I was and who I wanted to be. Every day felt like a battle, but turning 21, I decided that wasn’t who I wanted to be and I started writing music— not to be heard but to help me heal. Music became my release. Through every lyric, I began to rebuild myself and rediscover my purpose. I’m not perfect, but I’ve come out the other side stronger, wiser, and more driven. Now, I write not just for me, but for anyone who feels stuck in that same darkness. If my story or my music can help even one person find themselves again then every struggle was worth it.
